In planning a full refurbishment with one of Liverpool’s top Architects, who I have had the pleasure of working with on a freelance basis for the last 8 years, Tribeca’s Liverpool city centre restaurant required a full building survey and detailed plans drawing up to show building fabric extents and positions of existing services.

Positioned in an existing corner building, the existing structure was offset to line up with the roads, making for some awkward angular measuring in a building that was full of furniture and customers. Tie that in with the quirky internal layout with all its mezzanines and raised platforms, and this became a real challenge to measure up in a single day. However, when it’s drawn and it all slots together it’s rewarding to see the survey days efforts pay off. The Architect was extremely pleased with the plans delivered and the minimal turnaround time to get drawings issued.

I continue to provide this Client with surveys to date, after a long and healthy working relationship.
