1st March marks one year since I set up this company as a full-time operation.
In that short time, Aracus Architectural Design has become one of the go-to names in the local area for architectural services, having completed a huge number of successful projects in the Derbyshire region for private homeowners, property developers and commercial property owners as well as working closely with the local community associations and the parish council to develop design schemes for local amenities.
As well as several design schemes for houses in and around the High Peak and Peak Park, Aracus Architectural Design has been appointed to work up plans for a new Sports and Leisure facility in Tideswell, the refurbishment of the former Tideswell Post Office to provide new commercial units, and has worked in collaboration with local Architects to deliver tender designs for a nearby fire station.
Away from the local area, Stage 3 and 4 design schemes for new industrial units have been a major part of the last year, with a number of new buildings set for handover in the next couple of months.
As I go into year 2 I’ve overhauled my company infrastructure to provide a huge increase in PI cover and legal support, which opens the door to the prospect of larger projects and further growth. I’m also now working in partnership with a number of other companies providing resources to cover the full range of architectural design services.
I’d like to say a big thank you to all those who have either helped in one way or another, or that I’ve worked with either as part of the design team or in other areas of projects collaboration. To name a few:
